MENSHO San Francisco (in Tokyo)
From Tokyo to San Francisco and back to Tokyo.

MENSHO San Francisco recently opened in the MyLord department store in Shinjuku Station.

This is an homage to their San Francisco shop. The base is toripaitan. Creamy chicken soup was a big hit at their first overseas shop. Taking things a step further, Shono-san added matcha green tea powder to the bowl. The result was a hit; the bitter, umami-rich green tea blended perfectly with the milky soup. Trendy, yes, but a great bowl.

They also offer a spicy version and a limited wagyu-topped bowl. More on that in the video.

MENSHO continues to crush it.
