麺処 銀笹

Ginzasa is a funky little spot that recently opened in the Ginza area of Tokyo. Not the Ginza we all know and love, with its designer cake shops and handbag boutiques, but somewhere up and over a few intersections, past an expressway, and down a back alley.

Attention to detail is nice. Oshibori, the pre-dinner towel common in Japan, is scented with citrus and served alongside a bowl of peanuts. Free appetizer?

The white shoyu and fish stock are light and easy.
This would be a typical, almost boring bowl if it weren’t for the unique topping; shrimp meatballs.

The ramen seems to be made to draw attention to these chunky little bites.

Homemade ice cream is available as well.
