つるや (Tsuruya in Asahikawa, Hokkaido)

つるや
Tsuruya is one of Hokkaido’s oldest ramen shops, open since 1972. Good stop for something classic.
You can see from the noren curtain that this shop is connected with 加藤ラーメン, a minor chain with three or four shops in Hokkaido.
Classic style chukasoba. The chashu stewed in the shop’s tare seasoning was nice and intense. Maybe don’t combine this one with multiple ramen shops in one day.
But who am I to tell you how to slurp.
