ラーメン ABE’s

ABE’s is a top-ranked ramen shop in Shizuoka Prefecture. Kodawari shoyu ramen made with no chemical seasoning. Mukacho (無化調) with love.

Very good bowl. It’s getting harder and harder to talk about these shops without repeating the same information and compliments. Delicious homemade noodles. Chicken-heavy broth with a touch of niboshi umami. Refreshing. Delicious. You should go if you like this style.

Shoyu, shio, two kinds of tsukemen, and niboshi are all on the menu. Another reason it is hard to talk about this shop, as I only tried the standard shoyu ramen. ABE’s has been providing options for its customers since 2012. Before that, the master ABE-san ran a street stall ramen shop.

ABE’s also has frequent limited bowls. On the day I went they had a black sesame tantanmen and a lemon herb shio ramen. Whoah, I want both! Reading further down the menu, they have a local (県内産) menma ramen as well. Whoah, I want all three!

ABE’s isn’t hard to get to, but you are looking at a 25-minute bus or 40-minute walk from Shizuoka Station. If you walk, please stop by my friend’s craft beer bar, BEER OWLE, on the way back.
