TOKYO 鶏そば TOMO

Oimachi is ripe with highly ranked ramen shops. I tend to fare on the side of a bad blogger by consistently going to AJITO. You know, that one with the awesome pizza-style mazeasoba. But AJITO closed (and then reopened!) recently, so it’s time to check some more shops in this random part of Tokyo.

TOMO boasts a thick, all-chicken soup. As expected, the tsukemen is the shop’s recommendation.

200 yen more gets you the 得トッピング, an egg, extra chicken chashu, and some nori seaweed.

The soup is made extra thick by blending with plenty of gyokai fish powders. This is a bowl much like one of my favorite shops, Fuunji. Just not so much in-your-face.
